Top 10 WEARABLE Fashion Trends of 2021!

 

- Hello everyone, today I am sharing

the best fashion trends for 2021.

And yes it is.

It's already February.

So I'm kinda late in doing this.

Normally I'd get it out right at the beginning of the year,

but I just wanted to assess the situation, you know,

see what I liked, what I didn't like.

Am I gonna be sharing those weird, bold striped outfits

and florals and you know, the feather balls?

No, no, no, no.

These are things you're gonna actually wanna wear.

You know, what about those weird sweater vests?

Yes, I'm actually gonna share that

because I really like it.

So that's the first trend.

Everything that I share today,

I will have linked down below in the description box.

Some items are from Amazon, some are from, you know,

like my favorite stores.

So yeah, I'll just have everything down there,

and I will include the sizing for you

because I think that will really help.

So anyway, back to the sweater vest.

So this is just like a really nice, neutral sweater vest.

It kinda screams 90s, but I love it.

It's really easy to wear.

You just throw

on like a white button up blouse underneath.

And I did decide to just kinda size up on this.

I just wanted it to be a little bit oversized,

but you totally don't have to do that.

I love it when it's a little bit more form fitted too,

but this is such a wearable trend that I just love.

The next one I am conforming

to all of those gen Zers out there

just making fun of everyone else for wearing skinny jeans.

So I'm not saying skinny jeans are completely out.

I still wear them here and there

but the next trend that I am-

Like I love this.

It's just oversized jeans or pants or even wide leg pants.

And the reason I wanted to put this in the video is

because I found a pair that I just really, really like

and they're from Amazon.

But these jeans were only $37 and they're amazing.

So I highly recommend you consider them.

I would say the sizing is a little bit weird.

So I'm normally a size 25, okay?

And after reading all of the reviews,

I decided I was going to order an extra extra small,

which just sounds super annoying,

but that's what I went with and they fit me amazing.

Like they're so nicely fitted around the waist.

They make my butt look good.

And then they flow out

in the nice wide leg style that I am loving.

So the next fashion trend has

to do with my personal favorite topic,

which is handbags and it centers around the baguette bag,

which honestly just reminds me of bread,

but it's not bread.

Even though I really, I'm hungry.

Anyway, lemme show you the different options.

I started with a kind of more expensive one

and I worked my way down

to more appropriate priced version that I will show you

and I really like.

I shoulda just started there.

So here's the first one that I got.

It's the most expensive one of them all.

It's a vintage Fendi baguette bag.

So this was really popular back in the day.

And then it kinda went out of style

and now it's back in style

and it'll go back out of style probably soon.

But anyway, I really do like it.

Probably wouldn't pair it with this much pattern,

but nevertheless, I have gotten a lotta wear out of it.

And I'm happy that I got it.

I think.

Yeah.

This one, I really am happy that I got.

I feel like this is the most bang for your buck.

So it is a coach baguette bag, but the color, I mean,

my goodness look how rich and beautiful that color is.

You can get it in like beige and black,

but this is just beautiful.

And it comes with two straps.

So this is a longer one and it is adjustable.

So you can wear this cross body,

which makes it really functional.

But then this is the other strap that it comes with,

which is also removable.

But if you do wanna wear it, you know,

like the baguette style that's really popular

you can wear it like this and it's just, oh!

I love it so much.

And it's just, you can tell the quality is amazing.

And it has like a really nice compartment

in the back for your cell phone.

It actually fits quite a bit because it's pretty long.

I just love that this

and then we have this one.

This is perfect if you just wanna give this trend a go

and then toss it in a couple years.

This was under $20.

It was like $19.

It comes in like 20 different colors and textures.

This is like a black crocodile-style bag.

It has a really great zipper.

It also has a back zipper and yeah, I like it a lot.

Okay, so enough of the bags,

enough of this neutral sweater, you know.

Let's change outta that.

Just kidding!

We're back into another neutral sweater,

but this time it has to do with exaggeration.

So we've got exaggerated shoulders.

For some reason, I just personally really like this.

I have always kind of been drawn

to like the broad shoulder look,

and this is just done extremely well.

It doesn't look too crazy.

And I love kinda like the mock neck of it.

I do have it tucked into these jeans

which I think looks really chic.

But honestly the length of the sweater is also perfect.

So you can, you know

just kinda have it come out like that.

And it looks great either way.

Wait, what, you want to see me do the magic trick again?

A magician never reveals her secrets.

Okay, fine.

Okay. So next we have more exaggeration.

This time, we've got exaggerated puffy sleeves.

Now puffy sleeves have been on the scene for a while now,

but this is like extra, extra puff.

Why do I keep thinking of bread?

Now I'm thinking about croissants.

Anyway, this is like just really, really nice.

It's super smooth and soft.

I think it makes your waist look really small.

I've talked about this before.

Princess Diana always wanted to wear puffy sleeves

because she thought it made her waist look a lot smaller.

This is just a really nice blouse.

I think it can look really dressy,

but you can of course kind of dress it down

and look a lot more casual.

Ooh, now I'm adding this bag.

Doesn't it look so good?

So this next trend, I wasn't planning on putting next,

but I'm already wearing black

and this is really feminine and this is really masculine.

So they're combat boots

and I never thought I would like them.

Like it was never really in my life plan

to like combat boots.

But here we are.

It's like one of my favorite fashion trends of the year.

And I know some people hate them in which case that is fine.

Just skip along.

I really wear these way more than I ever expected to.

I love them with dresses and tights.

They look great.

I also wear these all the time with jeans.

They're super chunky, which is another trend that's,

you know, really in style right now.

So it does give you some height, which I love.

But they're really comfortable because they're flat.

You're not wearing heels, so you just can wear them all day

and you're great.

But anyway, they're by Steve Madden, true to size

and I'll link them below.

Steve Madden has all kinds of different combat boot options.

But I personally think this one is the best.

So next we have this matte faux leather shirt top

which we've seen faux leather in pants obviously

and jackets and handbags and blazers.

But now we finally have it in a shirt

and I just love this trend.

I've been wanting a shirt like this for so long.

And I finally found the perfect one.

This is like a number one bestselling shirt.

I'm just fingers crossed it's still available

because I highly recommend it.

It's just like the most perfect neutral beige color.

And the material is so buttery soft.

It's not squeaking weird, but it is an extra small.

So it's meant to be a little bit oversize.

So if you do end up ordering it,

then it just keep that in mind

and kind of order whatever size you think

would work for you.

But anyway, yeah, I love this.

I wear it as a shirt all the time,

and I also love wearing it

with like a black tank top underneath

and just kind of unbuttoning it as a jacket.

Now last year and this year,

they've been the years of lounge wear,

and I really have actually been liking the cropped top look.

Now this might not be for everyone.

This particular set is from Forever 21.

It was really reasonably priced.

And I find it actually pretty darn comfy.

Sometimes I do throw on like a fuzzy little jacket over it

and I, you know, wear it around the house.

I just like it a lot.

Now, if this isn't your thing,

another lounge wear a trend that we are seeing everywhere

is kind of just skin color, like neutral tone lounge wear.

So you would kinda just pick whatever color kinda

like blends into your skin.

And I'm totally blaming this on Kim Kardashian,

like her Skims line.

I really think that's kinda what made it popular.

So my personal favorite that I found,

I will just insert a clip of me wearing it.

I love it because the price is so good.

The quality is great and it comes as a set.

So you don't have to buy the top and the bottom separately,

which can make it really expensive.

So I think for the two pieces together,

it's like 30 something.

And for me, I just really liked the color of it.

You could get it in different shades and whatnot,

but what another reason I love it so much

is I think the top actually looks really good paired

with other joggers or other pants.

You can even wear it with jeans and kind of, you know,

wear it as a normal casual top.

There's just so much you can do with it.

So another piece that I definitely recommend.

Okay, so this next trend I personally do really like it

but if you don't like it, don't do it.

Take it with a grain of salt.

I will not make fun of you.

It's another one of those things

that the gen Zers are making fun of anybody

who doesn't rock the middle hair part.

So I decided to go ahead and part my hair down the middle,

which to be quite honest, wow.

I did a really bad job today, but I slicked my hair back

behind my ears and I do really like the way it looks.

So it's something to try.

You might love it.

You might hate it

but it's totally free and yeah, it's free.

That's the best part.

But do think it's the best hair part?

Get it, part, hair part?

Yes, I know I am old.

I am old.

There are many people making fun of me

in this video now, but that's okay.
